SKIN CARE 101: GETTING RED CARPET READY

HEHEHE. ME WITH THE GENTLE CREAM EXFOLIANT

FOR WOMEN WHO SUDDENLY FINDS A ZIT THE NIGHT BEFORE A BIG EVENT, APPLY A THIN LAYER OF THE OVERNIGHT CLEARING GET ET VOILA! BLEMISH IS GONE :)

THIS LAVANDER SCENTED TONER FROM DERMALOGICA EQUALISES THE PH OF THE SKIN. FOR ME, PERSONALLY, THIS TONER CALMS MY SENSITIVE SKIN, THEREFORE, NOT MAKING IT PRONE TO BREAK OUTS.

ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT I APPLIED DERMALOGICA'S GENTLE CREAM EXFOLIANT TO REMOVE DULLING DEAD SKIN CELLS. THIS CLEANSES MY SKIN MAKING IT READY FOR MAKE UP.

MILK AND SALT SCRUB SLOUGHS AWAY DEAD SKIN CELLS
There is nothing more beautiful than glowing, healthy skin on the red carpet. Here are a few tips, which I have tried to help you look your best on that big event.

2 Months Before

If your skin is starting to have a mind of its own, start a serious skin care regimen that will nurse it back to its original glory. In my case, I had to switch to milder products as I found my skin getting too sensitive and prone to breaking out.

2 to 3 Days Before

One of the main ingredients of the Gentle Exfoliating Cream is Lactic Acid. I think that I explained its purpose when I posted Breaking Out. A less expensive alternative is Yogurt. Try the Greek Plain Yogurt. Apply it on your face and leave it on for 5 minutes and rinse with luke warm water.

On The Day of the Event

I normally do my milk/salt scrub on the day of any special events that I attend. Word of caution though, too much exfoliation will leave your skin dry. What I do is I use Cocoa Butter Lotion from Vaseline all over my body. (Smells Yummy) and for the heels of the feet and my hands I use Glycerin Cream.

With glowing, healthy, sexy skin, you can bare your shoulders or your back and in my case my legs :)
